As we look back on 2021 we see a year that was very disrupted by Covid with all of the competitions at the start of the year cancelled as well as our grounds being closed. We did manage to come up with the idea of doing some training sessions via Zoom (drill's and circuits) just to keep contact with the group. As restrictions eased we were allowed to return to training in pods and under covid guidelines.

As we entered the summer we started to ease back into competition. First up was the County novice road race where we had a great run from Liam Collins who finished 2nd. One week later we had the county Intermediate road race on the same course and again Liam produced an even better run to claim the gold medal. On the same evening Clare Barrett running in her first championship race finished an excellent 4th in the Ladies race. Next up was the Senior road races where there was a commanding performance from Ciara Wilson who won the race by a distance. Liam finished the road season with a 5th place in the masters road race .
